Yeeet it from Dropbox

It's totes easy to yoink your song files from Dropbox. Like, Dropbox is literally the easiest way to create, edit, & store your files on a computer, then magically access 'em on your mobile device or literally any other gadget you own. Just pick the Dropbox option in the Lemme Add Some Tunes screen & browse your Dropbox like you actually know what you're doin'.

Permission Slip

Yeah, so you gotta let OnSong peek at your Dropbox the first time you try to access it. Don't worry—it'll just open a web-based auth screen right inside OnSong like it's no big deal. Once your account is linked up, you can use Dropbox without signin' in again… unless your account gets unlinked for some random reason & you have to do it all over again. Srsly.

You can always bail out of Dropbox whenever you want by tappin' the sign-out button at the bottom of the screen. Peace out.

Pokin' Around

Once you're signed in, you can navigate your whole dang Dropbox. Tap folders to dig deeper & find more files. It's like spelunking, but with less dirt.

Huntin' & Peckin'

Tap the search bar at the top of the menu to hunt down visible files & folders by name. Start typin' to see results that match, or tap the "Search" button on your keyboard to find files & folders that contain your search term somewhere in the filename. Revolutionary, we know.

Checky-Checky

Tap files to check & uncheck 'em for import. You can also use the Select All & Deselect All buttons at the bottom to go full nuclear on everything in the folder you're viewin'. Heads up: if you pick a backup file, OnSong will be like "Yo, importin' a backup will nuke your current library—you sure?" & if you say yes, only that backup gets imported & your library gets restored. Wild.

The Import Extravaganza

Once you got some files checked, tap the Import button in the upper right corner & watch the magic happen. If you picked a file that's already been imported, OnSong's gonna make you decide what to do with this duplicate mess. The import progress shows as a percentage in the upper right corner. When it's done, boom—you're back at the All Tunes screen.

Sort It Out

You can change how files & folders are sorted to make pickin' 'em easier. Tap the sort icon in the lower left corner to get a menu with these options:

• Name sorts files & folders by name in alphabetical order, ascendin' like a boss.
• Size puts the chunky files at the top so you know which ones are gonna take forever.
• Modified shoves the files you just touched to the top of the pile.

Tap the ascending & descending arrows at the bottom of the menu to flip the sort direction like a light switch.

Right-Click Shenanigans

Tap & hold (iOS/iPadOS) or right-click (macOS) on a file or folder to unlock secret powers.

• Delete will vaporize the selected file or folder. No takesies backsies.
• Rename lets you change the name but keeps the file extension intact so you don't break it.

Bouncy Bounce

If you signed into the wrong Dropbox account, or you're paranoid about security, tap the door icon in the lower right corner. This'll kick OnSong out of Dropbox & send you back to the Lemme Add Some Tunes screen. Fresh start, baby.
