Fancy Text Go Brrrr

Okay so y'all wanna make your lyrics look fancy? Cool, cool. Here's how to sprinkle some magic formatting dust all over your OnSong text without losin' your mind.

Grab a song & crack open the Song Editor Thingy from the top menu bar. Then slap some weird angle-bracket characters into your lyrics & watch the style transformation happen like you're some kinda typographic wizard:

This will be <*bold> text.
This will be </italicized> text.
This will be <!bold and italicized> text.
This will will be <_underlined> text.
This will be <\backslanted> text.
This will be <&red:red> text.
This will be a <#6677F0:custom color> using HTML color codes.
This will be highlighted in <>yellow:yellow> text.
This will be a <!_&red:>yellow:combination of a few things> here.
This will be <FRESH HOTNESS0.75:75% smaller> text.
This will be <FRESH HOTNESS24:24 point> text.
This will be <$Courier:monospaced> text.

• Make It Thicc (Bold) by droppin' an asterisk. Boom. Instant swole text.
• Lean It Over (Italicize) by slappin' a forward slash. Slanted vibes, no cap.
• Do Both Like You're An Overachiever by tossin' an exclamation point. Go off, I guess.
• Draw A Line Under It^† by addin' an underscore. Emphasis for people who stress underline.
• Tilt It Backwards^† (aka reverse italicize) by addin' a backslash. Contradict yourself in style.
• Paint The Words by addin' an ampersand & a color name or color code & a colon. Rainbow time, baby.
• Highlight It Like It's The Bestest Part by stickin' a greater-than symbol & a color name or color code & a colon at the start. Because subtle is boring.
• Make It Bigger or Smol^† by addin' a carat symbol & a number & a colon. Less than 6? That's a percentage vibe. Six or more? That's actual point sizes, get fancy.
• Switch Your Font^† by usin' a dollar sign & the font name & a colon. Courier, Comic Sans, whatever floats your boat.

You can totally stack these bad boys together & create some truly unhinged inline formatting combos for when you're feelin' extra.
