☀️ Squint Mode

Zomgish Translation

The light browser is basically a fancy filing cabinet that shows you literally every bleepin' light, fixture, & group you've ever bothered to set up in OnSong. Riveting stuff.

Addin' More Lights (Because Why Not?)

Wanna add or tweak lights from this thrilling list? Just smash that + button in the upper right corner like it owes you money. BAM! Opens the Bridge Editor — aka the secret control room where you flip lighting bridges on & cram in more lights & fixtures until your eyeballs hurt.

Pickin' Your Fave Lights

So the light browser's actual job is lettin' you pick which lights to boss around via the Control Surface. Basically it's a cheat sheet of all the bridges you already turned on in the Bridge Editor.

  • All Lights — plot twist: not a bridge at all. It's like a mosh pit where we threw every light & fixture from every active bridge into one giant bucket. Dig in & find whatever you're lookin' for.
  • DMX — these r ur stage lighting fixtures you added via some fancy ArtNet Interface. Everything's organized by fixtures & groups & stuff. Wanna find one specific light? Go spelunkin'.
  • Hue — all those bougie Philips hue lights you spent way too much on. Drill down, find your groups, find your lights, live your best color-changin' life.
  • LIFX — straight-up LIFX lights vibin' on ur WiFi. Poke around in the WiFi groups & lights section. They're probably still there.

Actually Controllin' the Dang Things

Once you've picked which lights u wanna torture, the Control Surface on the right'll update to show u what those lights r actually doin' (or claimin' to do). If ur lights can't agree on a color or vibe? We just average it. (Yeah, we're lazy like that.) Only the stuff u can actually change will light up. The rest? Locked & loaded for your protection.
