Text

Text annotations let you scribble whatever you want on your chord chart or sheet music—no judgment. You get full formatting power, but heads up: text doesn't wrap in a box, so if you're feelin' wordy, you gotta mash that line-break button yourself. Sorry, not sorry.

Droppin' Text Bombs

Tap the Text option in the Scribble Menu & boom—the Text Doodler opens right up. Start typin' & format away, bestie. Pro tip: if you don't actually type anything or you chicken out & cancel, your text annotation vanishes like your motivation on a Monday. Poof.

Shovin' It Around

Use gestures to push your text annotations wherever you want on the page (within reason). Tap to grab it, then use one finger to drag that bad boy around like you're movin' furniture. Feelin' fancy? Two fingers = rotate, pinch, & resize that sticky note like you're a freakin' surgeon. Mac users: mouse moves things, trackpad does the twisty-pinchy stuff.

Fixin' Mistakes

Text already on the page? Double-tap (iOS/iPadOS) or double-click (macOS) to open the Text Doodler & go to town. Or just tap/click it when it's selected & the keyboard pops up (if you didn't plug in some fancy external one) so you can change whatevs inline. Easy.

The Secret Menu

Wanna do literally everything else? Tap & hold (iOS/iPadOS) or right-click (macOS) on your text to unlock the power menu. Edit, reformat, pin it down, nuke it, or stash it in your scribbles library. It's all there, friend.

Yeeted Into the Void

Zap a text annotation by openin' the power menu & hittin' delete, or open the Text Doodler & tap that trash icon in the menu bar. Gone. No eraser. No whiteout. Just digital vanishing. Magic.
